During our 40th anniversary expedition through the Flinders Ranges in August this year, we spoke with our longstanding industry friend and partner, REDARC.

In August of this year, the Hema Map Patrol team, several Hema Alpha Team members and a selection of Hema staff set off on a very special celebratory expedition through the Flinders Ranges in South Australia. The expedition was in celebration of our 40th year of business.

We started our trip in Adelaide, where the full team was assembled from all their different stations in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria.

Our first stop was with our decades-long brand partner, REDARC. REDARC and Hema have an incredibly strong partnership built on years of collaboration and trust, particularly their long-term support of our Map Patrol expeditions where we capture mapping data in Australia’s most remote regions.

REDARC are industry leaders in the vehicle electronics space and the work they do goes hand in hand with the work we do here at Hema Maps.

We kicked off our 40th anniversary expedition at REDARC Electronics HQ in Adelaide

The stop included a private tour of their state-of-the-art facility, which was an incredible experience itself. We saw some awesome products, peeked at some new ones in development and enjoyed learning about their remarkable product testing processes and capabilities.

Before we leave you to watch the interview, we would like to take this opportunity to congratulate REDARC owners Anthony and Michele Kittel and all of their amazing team on their 45 years of business and acknowledge their decades of industry leadership and innovation. We look forward to being industry partners long into the future.
