WA'S BORDER FENCE REMINDER
The Department of Primary Industries and Regional have issued a reminder for all travellers that only authorised government or commercial vehicles may travel along the track beside Western Australia’s State Barrier Fence. It is important for the safety of workers and integrity of the fence that unauthorised vehicles steer clear, and those that ignore the warnings may face a $10,000 fine.
If you are headed that way, note the location of the fence and look out for ‘ACCESS PROHIBITED’ signs at fence entry points.
