Device Set up frustrating

Updating the hx2+ device to initially receive all Australian maps was far more difficult than anticipated. After 3 phone calls to the helpful hema staff, the device is finally setup.
The windscreen mount is strong and well made, however it’s not long enough, so there’s another hassle I need to work through

In general, it is OK, casing and screen protector are a good idea. BUT the navigator is a pain. Why? 1. I cannot register it, I am stuck as a “GUEST”.
2. The manual etc says to log into the cloud, for registration etc., but the cloud does not exist.
3. No real explanation on how to update the basic maps for city/basic highway type driving.
4. The only positive is using vector maps.
The HN 7 was a good navigator, the HX-1 and HX-2 were useable nut this it not what I would call useable.
