Hema Nav Software - Premium Upgrade Pack

So far service has been good have just sent Hema off for repairs on Tuesday morning,waiting for it to be returned so I can give you a better review.

I really preferred the old operating system. Having to initially find out about the issues with updates via contacting Hema (they should have contacted us) then having to pay for the ‘new’ system that appears worse than the previous is pretty poor from the apparent leading company in Australia for mapping and off road GPS products. Makes me really question whether I would recommend them to others or bother with a new product of theirs in the future.

Could not log in, lost all my maps and I have to pay to get it fixed? not the best guys

Sent the HX2 unit back to Hema and it was return with their so called update on it. No instructions what to do - did the research to find out. Now it has no OFF ROAD, ADVENTURE MAPS and the Hema GPS is useless. You can't zoom it, it says to update the voice but no update and no sound. Did a practice run with the new software in and my car GPS was more accurate and readable than the Hema update, I was offroad and the so called off road system has a fault that wont let you load maps OFFLINE in the middle of the scrub - lucky i had paper maps and a National Park Map of the area to show us where to go as the Hema didn't!. Now if you want the 4WD maps for the Hema etc you have to buy them - that is not what we paid for originally, we paid for a unit which has now been rendered useless and its worse than a normal GPS with no off road. The off-road - 4WD & remote touring came with the unit originally and I have all the original books showing us what it came with but now it is non existant. Emails etc to Hema does not work and they close them off before they are finalised. There is no customer service or help. My advise is to look around and buy something else that is useful and you have adequate customer service. Buy something that is more reliable. They don't ring, don't answer emails and file their lodgement forms with no action. In simple terms WASTE OF TIME, MONEY AND EXPENSE FOR A USELESS PIECE OF EQUIPMENT

I can't give an opinion either way since I have not yet received my HX2 back from the HEMA workshop.
