South Australia can be found in the southern central area of the continent and this is where visitors will find the Eyre Peninsula, the destination of some of the most exciting 4WD tracks Australia has to offer. Visitors will get the chance to dive with Great White sharks and snorkel around the Yorke Peninsula.
Towards the southern edges of the state, a Mediterranean climate is more common, but the vast majority is home to a dry, arid climate with temperatures soaring to 50 degree Celsius during the summer months.
