Cooked Gps

Don’t leave your gps in the hot ☀️ sun in north Qld,,! Because you will cook them, the case warps and then they die, expensive lesson, as they only have 12 months warranty,

Best ever

Ive had my HX2 now for 3 months after I cooked my HX1. my fault left it on the dash in 40 degree heat, does everything I ask it to do, mapping and tracking is so detailed in off road and mapping shows every track I love the idea of hotspotting to my mobile which brings up satilate mapping very handy when in the bush. on road is very detailed as well. If you decide to purchase one, take your time and learn to operate it correctly to use its full functions. love the new hemamaps cloud as well

Where can I go to learn how to use it?

For example I now have the device open and wish to place a waypoint some 400k from my current location. And it must be on the off road map.

"create waypoint" ALWAYS opens the on-road map.

And it opens the map over my current location - some 400k from the place I want to go to

Happy tripper!

The unit performs very well, the maps are great and the on road navigation works well too. The tablet on the mount was a bit bouncy at first on dirt roads but with the tablet lightly resting on some padding on the dash it's now stable.
